Drawing inspiration from a range of artistic mediums and genres, each release has become more complex and cinematic in theme and instrumentation. Taking the bones of her acoustic, lyric-driven past, Tonya Pieske formed a new and eclectic solo project that folded in the unfamiliar territory of electronica and dreampop. with lo-fi charm and the frightening intensity of someone returning from a years-long hiatus due to burnout and disillusionment. It’s really exciting to be on the frontier of a new style of artist curating and showcasing.HEXTERIA was born in 2017 with the release of Passion Aggressive, an experimental 6-track E.P. Like many of the attendees and artists said, even after quarantine, there will be a shift towards live-streamed concerts as a way for artists all over the world to connect without a tour and venues and ticket sales in the future. Watching you both perform live is honestly an amazing experience and would love to see you all perform again, under better circumstances if possible (yk with the corona shit going on). I wasn't there for most of it but I managed to see Lil Emo and CarniKat perform and that was enough for me to love the entire show.

Sophie unfortunately wasn’t able to watch the part where we got it together and I started feeling like a professional event organizer, although she herself, performed one of the most heartfelt sets towards the beginning of the event (She lives in the UK, and so the event started at night for her, and the afternoon for me.) They didn't seem to care about quality, they cared about the energy, Alt-Punk Queen, artist, performer Zoomikon was a show with soul and energy, the artists performing having energy and a good vibe in the show, and they succeeded tremendously at that. " Zoomikon wasn't a professional standard show by any means, its artist's weren't popular, but what it did have was soul. What VHS didn’t realize is that we had many technical difficulties throughout the day, but by the time Kučka performed, we had worked them all out and things were running much more smoothly. ZoomiKon feels like the future of live shows and thank you CarniKat for helping pioneer that! ” VHS, artist, rapper, performer. Afterwards I performed 4 songs and even though I was unsure everyone was super supportive! Every artist that performed is someone I’d work with. After watching Kučka, who was absolutely amazing, CarniKat did a basic sound check with me. “ I was really nervous about the whole thing because I had never used Zoom before and I got onto the set list really late. Ryan Perry is a singer/songwriter from the DMV area, East Coast, USA who had never heard of the other artists, and they hadn’t heard of him, but after he performed, he got a bunch of offers to collaborate with other performers and artists that watched since he impressed so many with his vocal talent. I look forward to when Zoomikon happens again ” - Ryan Perry, artist, performer, Saggitarius. It was creatively inspiring sharing work with a diverse group of artists. “ I had a really good time listening to other artists that I hadn't heard of and getting to play my songs in return. Lil Emo had the audacity to say this after he did most of the event organizing, "I was using my laptop as the Zoom host (I have been blessed with fast internet), and the audience members were able to tune in via Twitch (although we gave certain people VIP access to the Zoom conference room, where they could dance for the artists and chat with them, as well as have enhanced audio and video quality)." Everyone was in different time zones, so some people only saw certain artists, and not everyone was recorded, but people from nearly every continent tuned in to watch at different points throughout the day, which ended up lasting from 1PM to 9PM on May 1st (3 days after the original tweet).
